Lennox dangerous from several spots

Jacob Lennox is a 6-2 180 pound dual-threat quarterback from Baton Rouge (La.) Parkview Baptist.

Lennox moved from his starting cornerback spot to quarterback in the first the game of his junior season and never looked back. He will see time in the defensive backfield in 2004 in addition to being the team's signal caller.

Lennox finished last season with over 2,050 yards (1,246 passing and 816 rushing) of total offense and accounted for 28 touchdowns. The accolades he picked up included his district's Offensive MVP Award and he was also voted All-Metro.

He is a really good looking athlete and he showed great speed (4.5) and hips in his brief stint at cornerback.

"Coaches really like him because he is a smooth athlete," said Parkview Baptist head coach Kenny Guillot. "He runs well enough to play corner but he would also make a great free safety. They're going to watch him in the spring to see how he progresses."

Lennox is currently getting interest from a lot of schools but he is mostly looking at LSU, Auburn, Southern Miss and the rest of the SEC schools.

He is fully qualified to play as a freshman and one to keep an eye on for the Class of 2005.
