LSU-Bama to play on ESPN

LSU's game against Alabama on Nov. 13 in Tiger Stadium will be televised to a national audience on ESPN and will carry at 6:45 p.m. start time, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.

The LSU-Alabama contest will be one of four SEC games on Nov. 13 as Jefferson-Pilot will televise Ole Miss at Arkansas followed by Georgia at Auburn on CBS. ESPN2 will carry the South Carolina at Florida contest at 6 p.m. with the LSU-Alabama game slated for ESPN.

The ESPN telecast of the LSU-Alabama game will mark the fifth straight year in which the Tigers' matchup against the Crimson Tide has been nationally televised. Last year, LSU posted a 27-3 win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa on ESPN.

The Tigers, 6-2 overall and 3-2 in SEC action, are open on Saturday before entering a three-game stretch of contests that sees the Tigers hosting the Crimson Tide and Ole Miss before traveling to Little Rock to face Arkansas in the regular-season finale on Nov. 26.
