By Thursday, the quote was changed on USATODAY.com, but some media reports are still referring to the erroneous quote.
Wednesday's online edition of USATODAY.com incorrectly quoted Perrilloux as saying in reference to his decision to choose LSU and pertaining to LSU's returning quarterbacks: "JaMarcus Russell struggled last year and Matt Flynn is definitely not a better quarterback than me."
Perrilloux's quote, as confirmed by a tape of the press conference and other reports by media in attendance was actually as follows: "JaMarcus kind of struggled a little bit. Matt Flynn really didn't play too much. Marcus Randall was a senior so I decided LSU probably was the best spot for me."
