Miami linemen still considering Tigers

The University of Miami had the last chance to make a lasting impression on two of Florida's top linemen right in their backyard. The Hurricanes hosted Kareem Brown and Terrell McGill of Norland High School last weekend, and so far neither player has made his commitment. Their coach has updated Tiger Rag on where LSU stands in the race.

Reports earlier in the week indicated that Brown, a 6-foot-5, 265 pound defensive end, had narrowed his choices down to Miami and Florida, but Norland coach Nigel Dunn told Tiger Rag that "it's basically Miami and then everybody else second."

Dunn acknowledged that it looked pretty good for the hometown Hurricanes as far as Brown was concerned, but that LSU was still in the thick of things for offensive lineman Terrell McGill (6-4, 300).

"Terrell has it down to Miami and LSU," said Dunn. "I honestly don't think he knows where he wants to go right now."

Dunn has a rule that his players don't announce their commitments until national signing day, so that gives both Brown and McGill a few more days to consider their options.
