Kickoff for Saturday's contest between the Admirals (6-4) and the Thunder (7-3) is set for 11 a.m. local time and can be seen on Fox (cable ch. 6 in Baton Rouge). The game will be played in
Norman LeJeune ranks among the team leaders in tackles for Amsterdam as he enters the World Bowl with 36 tackles, including 28 solo, and eight passes defended. He's also added a pair of fumble recoveries and three interceptions from his safety position.
LeJeune is listed as the Admirals' No. 2 safety heading into Saturday's contest. LeJeune was allocated to NFL Europe by the Tennessee Titans.
On the other side of the field, former Tigers Adrian Mayes and Jack Hunt will be looking for their second title in three years. Mayes and Hunt were both members of LSU's 2003 BCS National Championship team. Mayes spent the 2004 regular season with the Arizona Cardinals, while Hunt recently signed a free agent contact with the Miami Dolphins.
Mayes will start at safety for the Thunder, while Hunt serves as a backup safety. Hunt also sees action when the Thunder goes to its five and six-defensive back packages.
Mayes ranks second on the Thunder in tackles with 38, while Hunt has recorded 28 tackles for Berlin.
