The younger Castille is a versatile high school football player. He plays both running back and wide receiver. So far, he has totaled over 8,100 career all-purpose yards, including 2,750 on the ground and 3,814 through the air (221 receptions).
"Tim has been so good," said Fred Yancy, the Head Coach at Briarwood Christian. "He was an all-state receiver in the 8th grade. We move him around a lot and just try and get him the ball as much as possible. Tim is explosive and knows how to get into the endzone. He is the type of player that can take over a game."
Castille will likely play just running back at the next level but he has already proved he has great hands and is an above average blocker as well.
"I think I am an all-around back," said Castille. "I can run over you or around you. I am not afraid to lower my shoulder."
Castille plans on attending the Nike Camp at Alabama in April. So far, he has unofficially been to Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee. He attended Alabama's junior day and will try to get to Tennessee's junior day. He could not go to Auburn's junior day this past weekend because of a track meet.
"Right now, Alabama is my favorite team. I know them the best and I have been exposed to them the most. I would like to stay close home and find a school that will use my versatility. I have always been a huge Alabama fan. They treat my father so well. I also like Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Michigan."
