Provine High School is loaded with talent at the skill positions heading into the 2002 season. One of the top prospects to watch is running back Greg Clark.
Clark is a running back prospect that should enjoy a very good senior campaign this upcoming season. He is surrounded by other skill guys (but they did lose OLs Otis Ridley and Monte Collins to graduation and Mississippi State).
"Greg is just a bruiser," said Provine head coach Willie Collins. "He is a strong inside runner with deceiving speed. He can out run folks. I call it good football speed."
Last season, Clark rushed for almost 2,000 yards. This season, he hopes to break that barrier.
"I think I have a blend of power and speed. I make plays and I can block too," says Clark. "Right now, I am looking at academics, the coaching staffs and the college environments. I am pretty open between Mississippi State, LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, and Ole Miss."

Comments - a running back that can run, catch and block... played fullback his sophomore year... better inside runner... likes contact... power back... could play running back or fullback at the next level.
Goals - "I want to graduate high school, improve my grades, improve on the field, and rush for 2,000 yards." - Clark
