This marks the third season in which Cox Sports Television will serve as the exclusive regional cable sports network for LSU Athletics.
LSU football games will air each week at 5 p.m. on Sunday, the day following the contest. The first Cox Sports Television broadcast for the 2005 season comes on Sept. 4 as the network will air the LSU-North Texas game. The game will also be re-broadcast at 7 p.m. each Wednesday during the season.
Lyn Rollins returns for his third season of calling all of the action for Cox Sports Television. Former LSU standout Greg Bowser joins the Cox Sports Television team this year and will handle the game analysis with Jordy Hultberg providing commentary and reports from the sidelines.
In addition to the re-broadcast of the LSU football games, Tiger fans can also catch Inside LSU Football with Les Miles each Wednesday at 6 p.m. on Cox Sports Television.
Cox Sports Television, also the home of the NBA's New Orleans Hornets, is a 24-hour regional sports network that delivers exclusive, compelling, high profile professional, amateur and collegiate men's and women's sports events, to approximately 1.2 million viewers in its coverage area of Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, southern Mississippi, southwestern Alabama and Central Florida.
