PHOTO GALLERY: Katrina's affects on LSU

Editor's Note: Matt Deville and Jason Brown visited the LSU campus Friday morning to get a firsthand feel for the post Hurricane Katrina aftermath. The Pete Maravich Center is being used as a triage unit while the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse is serving as a special needs facility.

The presence of federal disaster relief is evident.

 

Mike Daigle (left) and Sau Dang of Gonzales aren't tailgating but rather cooking up huge pots of jambalaya for both relief workers and victims of Hurricane Katrina at the Pete Maravich Center.

 

Supplies are shipped in by the truckload.

 

The parking lot at Bernie Moore Track Stadium is filled with FEMA vehicles.
