Skupski and Growcott finished the 2004-05 season with a loss in the finals of the NCAA Doubles Championship, in a 7-6(4), 7-5 decision to John Isner and Antonio Ruiz of Georgia.
Both players were also ranked individually in the ITA singles rankings, with Skupski at No. 17 and Growcott at No. 37.
LSU's No. 2 doubles team from last season, Danny Bryan and Colt Gaston, were ranked at No. 27 in the ITA poll.
The Tigers open the 2005-06 season this weekend at the Rice Crown Plaza Invitational in Houston.
