No TV for Mississippi State game

LSU's game against Mississippi State in Starkville on Oct. 1 will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. after the networks who televise Southeastern Conference football passed on the game, the league office announced on Monday.

Games slated for television next week in the SEC include Ole Miss at Tennessee on Jefferson-Pilot, Florida at Alabama on CBS and South Carolina at Auburn on ESPN2.

LSU officials said a decision regarding TigerVision, the school's in-house pay-per-view network, for the Mississippi State game will be made in the coming days.
