A letter to Tiger Rag subscribers

To our loyal subscribers and readers:

As you know, Louisiana has been ravaged by Hurricane Katrina and Rita. These catastrophes have changed our lives forever. Much of the daily infrastructure of our lives has been adversely affected particularly in southeast and southwest Louisiana. The rebuilding process will be a long and tedious one and our thoughts and prayers go to each and every person that has been affected by these natural disasters.

I have been particularly proud of the staff of Tiger Rag. By sheer determination and out-of-the-box thinking, we were able to publish an issue the very week Katrina hit Louisiana. Our staff has worked hard during extreme conditions and continues to do so.

I want to thank you, our loyal subscribers and readers, for your patience. You have probably noticed that in some cases Tiger Rag takes longer to be delivered. This is a result of Katrina. For those of you outside of the metropolitan Baton Rouge area, our magazines are now being transported to Tennessee for distribution by the U.S. Postal Service rather than New Orleans. Once the New Orleans operation returns to full capacity, delivery times should be normalized.

Thank you for your continued support of Tiger Rag.
