Television set for NCAA Baseball Regional

LSU has announced that the Pelican Sports Network will be broadcasting all of the games of the NCAA Baseball Regional at Alex Box Stadium live, starting with LSU's game against Southern on Friday.

All games will be televised live in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Alexandria and New Orleans by the Pelican Sports Network. The Lafayette affiliate is KADN-TV; the Alexandria affiliate is KLAX-TV; and the New Orleans affiliate is WGNO-TV.

The Baton Rouge affiliates will vary, depending upon each games' participants. Friday's 2 p.m. game between LSU and Southern will be televised on WGMB-TV (Cable Ch. 6). Friday's 7 p.m. game between Louisiana-Lafayette and Tulane will be carried on WB 10 (Cable Ch. 10).

Saturday's 11 a.m. game will be televised by WVLA-TV (Cable Ch. 3), if LSU is involved in that game. If LSU is not involved in the 11 a.m. Saturday game, it will be carried on WB 10. The same scenario holds true for the 3 p.m. Saturday game - if LSU is involved, the game is on WVLA-TV, if LSU is not involved, the game is on WB 10.

The 7:30 p.m. Saturday game will be carried by WGMB-TV if LSU is involved; if LSU is not involved, the game will be televised on WB 10.

The 1 p.m. championship round on Sunday will be carried by WGMB-TV if LSU is involved; if LSU is not involved, the championship round will be televised on WB 10.

TICKETS: Friday's LSU-Southern game is completely sold out.

A limited number of outfield general admission tickets for Friday's ULL-Tulane game will go on sale at 8 a.m. at the Alex Box Stadium ticket office. Purchases must be made in person, as no orders will be taken over the phone. Tickets are $10 each.

The Alex Box Stadium ticket office will also open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. A limited number of individual-game tickets may be available each day. Tickets will be sold only for the games of that day - there will be no advance ticket sales.

Fans who are picking up tickets at the Alex Box Stadium Will Call window are encouraged to claim their tickets early to avoid long lines.

All ticket holders are encouraged to hold on to ticket stubs in case of rain delays or game postponements.
