Tigers get first commitment on 2007 class

Jonesboro Hodge (La.) gave LSU one of its most heralded signees for the 2006 class in Charles Scott and that is also where Les Miles picked up his first commitment for ‘07.

According to head coach Joey Pender, Gabriel Bryant committed to the Tigers on National Signing Day.

Bryant, a 6-2, 190-pounder with 4.5 speed, will play quarterback for Jonesboro Hodge next year but he is projected to play receiver at the next level.

Tiger Rag will have more on Bryant's pledge later today.
