LSU is looking to sign five blue-chip offensive linemen in the 2007 class and the staff is trying to kill two birds with one stone by landing the twin tandem of LaShawn (6-4, 270) and James Pouncey (6-4, 290).

When they move on to the college level, chances are they will not be playing next to one another as the overwhelming majority of coaches picture James moving inside to guard like his brother.

"Coach Miles said they liked how we were aggressive and the way we got off the line," LaShawn told Tiger Rag. "He said they liked us both a lot and that they really need o-linemen in this class."
The twins have never stepped foot on the LSU campus but they plan on doing so this summer. Despite not seeing LSU first hand, though, they have heard plenty of LSU football.
"We have family living in
LaShawn said he and James grew up watching college football and they had a keen interest in the SEC and ACC.
With that in mind it should be too big of a surprise to find out that out of the 12-plus offers the brothers have picked up their top six has an SEC and ACC flavor to it.
