Last season for Lafayette
LSU defensive backs coach Doug Mallory recruits the majority of players from the Acadiana area but linebackers coach Bradley Dale Peveto is the one recruiting Fleming.
"Coach Peveto called my house not too long ago," said Fleming. "He said LSU is very interested in me and that they'd like to see me in camp. He said it would help a lot. I might go to one of their camps in July."
Fleming, a 6-2, 205-pound safety with 4.5 speed, is being recruited as an outside linebacker by most and that is what LSU sees him playing.
"He said how he liked my ability to play more than one position and the fact that I'm very physical," said Fleming. "He was a really nice guy and it seemed like he was being really sincere and that what he was telling me was the truth. They'd like to see me play linebacker. It wouldn't really matter to me."
So far, a lot f schools are showing interest and Fleming has received three official offers.

Grades is something that will not come into play for the standout defender as Fleming already has what he needs to qualify academically.
"I earned a 3.75 last year, giving me a 3.1 overall GPA," said Fleming. "I took the ACT Saturday and I think I did all right, somewhere in the 20's. I haven't really thought about what I'm going to major in, in college. My brother majored in business and my older brother is a doctor, so I don't really know. Maybe physical therapy, but I'm not too sure."
