"LSU is my only offer right now," Weatherby said. "I talked with their coaches when they came to visit me during our spring training scrimmage."
Weatherby said he visited camps at
both Ole Miss and
"I went to camps for Ole Miss last weekend," said Weatherby. "It was a seven-on-seven camp. I felt like I preformed pretty well. Some of the coaches talked about me playing free safety."
Even though LSU is the only offer he has right now, Weatherby said he is keeping his hopes up for other SEC schools to come into the picture.
"I really don't have a favorite
right now," he said. "My top teams are LSU,
Weatherby expressed his interests in LSU lie mostly with the coaching staff.
"They're cool," he said. "I think I could get along with them well."
He also said that the school that woos him the most will consist of three important things.
"The coaching staff will have to be really good," he said. "I look for a school with good academics and I'd like to see some early playing time."
LSU coaches have already spoken to Weatherby and have told him that they like what they see.
"They said I have really great hands," Weatherby said, "and that they like my speed and quickness and my ability to run quick routes."
