Zaslaw was asked about his impressive showing at the Nike Camp in College Station this past May.
"Actually, I've gotten stronger and quicker since then," he said. "I just benched 225-pounds 24 times the other day.
Zaslaw will return at Mike linebacker, fullback, tailback and as the punter for Bulldog head coach Toby Daugherty in 2002.
As a junior, Dane rushed for 275 yards with two touchdowns at fullback along with recording 122 tackles, three fumble recoveries, three caused fumbles, one sack, one interceptions and three blocked kicks. He was also an All-State punter, averaging 41.8 yards per kick.
Zaslaw was asked about positions in college.
"I'm being recruited as a Mike linebacker, he said. "But I could also play fullback."
In addition to Nike, Zaslaw also attended the mini-camp at Texas, the OU camp and an unofficial visit to Miami.
"I already have three official visits set up," he said. "I'm visiting OU the weekend of the Alabama game (September 7th), Texas A&M the weekend of the Virginia Tech game (September 21st) and LSU when they're playing Mississippi State (September 28th)."
Zaslaw was asked about the other two.
"I really like Miami and will probably schedule a visit with them," he continued. "I've also been hearing a lot from UCLA recently, so I'd also like to go out there."
Dane was also asked about offers.
"OU, Texas A&M and LSU all have offered," he said.
The six-foot-two, 238-pound Zaslaw has a 385-pound bench, 650-pound squat, 32.4 vertical leap, 4.56 forty and 4.49 shuttle. Also an excellent student, he carries a 3.6 GPA and has already scored a 20 on the ACT.
He is currently ranked 10th overall on the Heartland Recruiting Regional Top 160.
