PRDEICTION: LSU-Auburn, here's our call

It has been the most anticipated game in a long, long time. Sure there are the traditional rivalries - Alabama-Auburn, Florida-Tennessee, Florida-Georgia - but no game means more in the SEC than the annual clash between LSU and Auburn.

OUR CALL:

The home team has won this game every year since 2000, and the winner has gone on to the SEC Championship Game in five of the six seasons since then. On paper, this one is too close to call. LSU is better in every statistical category except rushing offense. LSU averages 200 rushing yards per game, 23rd nationally, while Auburn is two yards better, gaining 202 yards on the ground per game, which ranks 22nd. Both teams play mighty physically and have outstanding defenses and coordinators. This, like the first Georgia game in 2003, will be the boost LSU needs to jump into the national championship picture. The LSU defense holds strong, and the Tigers come away with a big one on the road.

LSU 20,

Auburn 10
