Tigers remain in top 10 in all three polls

For the second straight week, LSU remained ranked in the top 10 in all three national polls following Saturday's 48-17 win over Mississippi State.

The Tigers, now 4-1 overall and 1-1 in Southeastern Conference play, return to action on Saturday when they travel to face fifth-ranked Florida in Gainesville. Kickoff for the Florida contest is set for 2:30 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised to a national audience by CBS.

It marks the second time this year LSU will be involved in a top 10 matchup on the road. Earlier this year, the Tigers dropped a 7-3 decision to then-No. 3 Auburn.

The Tigers held steady at No. 9 in the Associated Press poll, however LSU did manage to move up a spot in this week's Harris Interactive rankings. LSU jumped over Georgia from No. 10 to No. 9 in this week's Harris poll.

The Tigers continue to be ranked No. 10 in the USA Today Coaches poll.

Florida, who goes into Saturday's game with the Tigers, is ranked No. 5 in all three polls. Ohio State continues to be the nation's No. 1 ranked team.

Other SEC teams in the rankings include: Auburn at No. 2 in the AP poll, and No. 3 in both the Coaches and Harris polls; Georgia at No. 9 in the Coaches poll and No. 10 in the AP and Harris polls; and Tennessee at No. 13 in the AP and Harris polls and No. 14 in the Coaches poll.
