Coach John Brady and his squad of 12 players went through the normal drills that have become a tradition of LSU basketball -- the lengths, layup and figure 8s, before breaking down into stance drills and defensive technique sessions.
The teams also broke down into post and perimeter players for a section of the practice and finished the session with some 5-on-0 work on the break from a free throw.
After going twice on Sunday, LSU with exceptions will begin its normal preseason week workouts, with weights and conditioning three days a week prior to its workout at the Maravich Center.
Season tickets remain on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office for the 2006-07 season and online at www.LSUsports.net in preparation for the first exhibition game on Nov. 9 against perennial opening foe, EA Sports. The opening regular season game for the Final Four Tigers and the defending champions of the Southeastern Conference is Nov. 17 against Nicholls State at the Maravich Center.
