Ernest McCoy made the call and he is a Tiger

Our source has confirmed that Ernest McCoy called Les Miles on Monday and committed to the Tigers.

Mondays are always the toughest day of the week but it will not be for the LSU football program.

Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central offensive tackle Ernest McCoy told Tiger Rag that he plans to call Les Miles and offensive line coach Stacey Searels to let them know that he wants to commit to LSU.

"Like I told you when we talked last week, I just felt really comfortable and at home at LSU," said the 6-5, 330-pounder. "They made me feel like I was already part of the program and said that they will take care of me as a student-athlete."

McCoy said that his visit sealed the deal for the Tigers and when we looked at everything all of the schools had to offer he felt like LSU could not be beat.

"All of the schools recruiting me are top programs but LSU just as it all," said McCoy, who also has offers from Auburn, Miami, Ole Miss, Florida and several others. "I don't think anyone can top what they have and they present a great opportunity to play early."

When McCoy makes the call he will be the 15th commitment to go public and the third offensive tackle for 2007.
