Chris Walker talks about the Tigers

3-star linebacker Chris Walker witnessed first hand LSU's most exciting victory of the year as he was in the stands watching his top two schools battle it out in Neyland Stadium.

"I mostly just sat and observed, but I'd clap when either team would make a good play," said Walker. "I really liked what I saw from both defenses."

After the game Walker said he text messaged LSU running backs coach Larry Porter and then the two spoke at length about the big win.

"I just told him that I was really happy with what I saw from the defense," said Walker. "They were really fast and aggressive, and I think one of the best, if not the best in the country. We talked about the depth chart and he said that I would have a real good chance of playing early if I went there."

LSU will have another big SEC showdown this weekend when Alabama comes to Baton Rouge and Walker said he hopes to make the trip.

"I'm still trying to work out all the details of that trip, because my team will be in Chattanooga that Friday and it's a far drive from there," said Walker. "I was there for the Arizona game, but I'm really looking forward to this one."

Although Walker was very impressed with what he saw from both defenses, he said it will take more than just a few good performances to let him decide which system he'd rather play in.

"Both teams fought really hard," he said. "I still have a long way before I can lean towards one team or the other. I will say that LSU's defense was just so fast and aggressive and that's the style I like to play. But, I'm going to take my official visits and everything before I get a better idea of where I want to be for the next four years."

Note: Chris Walker said his official visit date to LSU is slated for Dec. 10.
