"He (Lane) is coming later in the week to watch us practice and he is going stay for our state semifinal game on Friday," Thompson told Tiger Rag.
Thompson said that he spoke with Lane on Sunday to confirm their plans and that their talks have taken a new direction.
"We didn't even get into recruiting," explained Thompson. "We just really talked about life."
When we asked him to compare the two officials he had been on he had this to say.
"They were both good," said
Thompson. "There was really nothing bad to talk about on either one. At
Thompson's mother wants to get a good look at where he will be spending the next four or five years of his life but she was unable to accompany him on either of his visits.
