Amp Hill likes what he hears from Saban

Anthony "Amp" Hill is one of the top receivers in the country and he has LSU high on his short list of schools he is considering.

Hill (6-3, 200, 4.47) has received more than 20 scholarship offers from schools all over the country but he lists the Tigers, along with Florida, Florida State, Tennessee and Southern Cal, in his top five. He has scheduled three of his official visits and he plans on making one to Baton Rouge on Nov. 16 when the Tigers host Alabama.

One of the things that stands out about the LSU program is the fact that coach Nick Saban brought a championship back to Baton Rouge in only his second year at the helm. Hill expects he will bring more than a conference championship to the Capitol City in the near future and that is very enticing to the prep All-American.

"I think without a doubt he is a wonderful coach," Hill said. "We had a chance to sit down and talk one-on-one a few times and he was telling me a lot of good stuff about LSU. I think LSU is up there with the top programs in the country. I feel like coach Saban is on the road to winning a national championship at LSU in the next few years and that is something I want to be a part of."
