Monday Night Football to have LSU flavor

LSU will be well represented on Monday Night Football tonight as the Tigers will have five former players participating when the Cincinnati Bengals travel to face the Indianapolis Colts.

Kickoff for the nationally televised contest is slated for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. The Colts bring a 10-3 overall mark into the contest, while the Bengals are 8-5.

Of the five former Tigers in tonight's contest, four are members of the Bengals, with two of those in starting roles. Tory James, who played at LSU from 1992-95, starts at cornerback for the Bengals, while rookie Andrew Whitworth starts at offensive tackle.

Other former Tigers on the Bengals roster include return specialist Skyler Green and backup center Ben Wilkerson. Green was signed to the Cincinnati roster this week after being picked up on the waiver wire from Dallas.

Rookie Joseph Addai has made an immediate impact in his first season with Colts as he leads the team in rushing with 867 yards and seven touchdowns. Addai has also caught 31 passes for 259 yards and a score.

Addai, who is nursing a sore ankle, is still expected to at running back for the Colts in tonight's contest.
