T-Bob gives it a "10"

Standout offensive lineman T-Bob Hebert (6-3, 265, 4.8) took his official visit to LSU this weekend and said more than anything, this trip helped confirm his decision to commit to LSU.

"I had an amazing time," he said. "It reinforced everything I already knew.

I just know that it is going to be a great place to play football and just be for the next four years."

T-Bob Hebert arrived Friday night and got a chance to hang out with a lot of the players and have dinner with coaches. He said he got a chance to meet up with some of the other recruits who were on their trips, including Will Blackwell.

"We just mostly talked about LSU and what it would be like to play there,"

said Hebert. "I didn't really try to recruit him to come with me, because I mean, everybody had to make their own decisions. I just tried to let him know my opinion on coming here."

On Saturday, Hebert got to eat with the coaches twice and got a tour of the campus and the town of Baton Rouge. He also caught a basketball game in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

"We got a much more detailed tour of the campus and we got to see the stadium without 97,000 screaming Tiger fans," said Hebert. "I got to go to an LSU basketball game and watch LSU beat Auburn in what was a very exciting game. I can definitely see myself watching some basketball games when I'm here."

Hebert said he got to spend a good amount of time with head coach Les Miles.

"We just talked about how excited we are about next season and how I just can't wait to get here," said Hebert. "We talked a little bit about the recruiting class and how this year's is going to be a really good one. We talked about winning a national title and how that is going to be the goal every year. You can just see the excitement in him when we talked about winning one."

Hebert rated this trip as a 10 on a scale of 1-10, and said that even though this was his only official visit, he would not have wanted to spend the time going anywhere else.

"I got to really know the players better and get a better feel for what Baton Rouge is really all about," said Hebert. "It got me really even more excited about playing here and I just can't wait."
