is one of, if not the, top targets left on the board and shortly after Gary Crowton was introduced as the new offensive coordinator at LSU he headed down to
"Everything was good," McKnight said of his meeting with Crowton. "He's a nice person."
McKnight did not have much to say as to the specifics meeting the new coach, but did say that his top two schools remain the same, and that Crowton could end up helping LSU's cause.
"It's still pretty much the same," he told Tiger Rag. "[Getting the new coach] might help LSU get ahead though."

USC joins the Tigers as the top two schools McKnight is considering for his college career, and will be the destination for his next official visit, as he plans to make a trip to see Pete Carroll and the Trojans this weekend.
"I'm not really overly excited," he said in response to being asked if it was a trip he had been waiting for. "It's just another visit. I'm sure I'll have a great time. I'm just looking to see if I would be comfortable there."
Even once the visit to USC is done, football fans will still have to wait it out for a few more weeks before hearing McKnight's decision, as he will not be announcing anything until signing day.
Although he does not anticipate adding any new schools to the list, McKnight did say that later this week he will be receiving visits from coaches from Arkansas, as well as Florida State's Jimbo Fisher and Alabama's Nick Saban.
Are any of these programs he has given serious thought to?
"Not really," he said. "It is still just LSU and USC."
