An official notice and tentative agenda for the two-day meeting is attached. The Board convenes committee hearings on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Board Meeting Room, 3810 West Lakeshore Drive, Baton Rouge. Friday's meeting convenes at 8:30 a.m. at the same location.
The new ticket plan, which
will increase the cost of tickets $4 for some games and $9 for others is
expected to raise more than $3.6 million for LSU athletics, which have a
combined annual budget of more than $63 million.
Discussion of the
ticket and parking fee increases is scheduled to come before the Board's
Athletic Committee Thursday afternoon.
Overall, season ticket
prices per seat will go from $297 last year to $305 for the 2007 season, not
including a Tradition Fund contribution that is required for all seats in Tiger
Stadium based on location. In addition, a Tradition Fund contribution will
also be required to purchase parking permits, depending on location.
