"It was a nice place," Scott said of his visit with the Longhorns. "I liked going there. I got a chance to check out the facilities and hang out with the coaches. I fit in there more than I thought I would, the players were all real cool. Now I need to take some time and think about everything now that I'm done with visits."
"I haven't really had time to think about it or narrow it down at all," he said. "All of my visits were the same really; there were things I liked and things I didn't like. I want to just sit down and look at the good and bad things about each school."
Scott came down to
"I'm talking to coach (Todd) Monken a good bit," he told Tiger Rag. "He called me up earlier this week. He's a cool guy. I'm not sure when they are going to come visit again or anything because last week they were in here with all of the defensive coaches."
Scott says that, although he has not chosen a favorite out of his top schools, his decision will be based largely on where he feels comfortable and how he gets along with the other players on the team.
"I want to list out what I like and don't like about certain schools and go from there," he said. "I'm going to take some time and make sure about my decision."
Is there a timeline for when fans might find out what Scott decides?
"I'm not really sure when it will be just yet," he said. "I never planned on waiting all the way until signing day, but if I need to, I will. It will be when I feel like I'm ready."
