"I pretty much knew everything about LSU," said McKnight. "I've been there so many times this was just something I needed to do. I'd seen everything and all that."
McKnight refused to rate his visit, saying he just couldn't do that. He said the talks with the coaches went as expected.
"They just talked about how they were going to use me in their offense and the kinds of things they would prepare for me," said McKnight. "They basically said the same things as all the other coaches at the other schools have told me."
McKnight did get to spend some quality time with some of the players and that was something he was looking forward to.
"My player guide was Jai (Eugene)," said McKnight. "He was a really nice guy and I knew him from a while ago. We basically just chilled in the football dorm and I got to know some of the players a little better. I felt like I fit in pretty good with everybody."
This week will be a busy week for the nation's No. 1 running back as Pete Carroll will make his in-home visit on Wednesday followed by Les Miles on Thursday.
After that, McKnight said he is unsure of what his plans will be for the weekend.
"I don't know if I'm going anywhere
or not," he said. "
McKnight had been mum on naming a leader throughout the entire recruiting process and nothing has changed with a little more than a week to go until National Signing Day.
"I haven't even thought about that," he said. "I will talk to my coach this week and we will start to sort things out."
