"I just got through meeting with him (Miles), coach Porter, coach Crowton and the secondary coach (Mallory)," McKnight told Tiger Rag.
Miles and his trio of his assistants visited with McKnight at John Curtis head coach J.T. Curtis' house and amongst other things they told him how they would utilize his talent if he was to sign with the Tigers.
"It went good," McKnight said of the visit. "They talked a lot about how they would play in the backfield and motion me out a lot to create mismatches on linebackers and safeties. They also talked about letting me play a lot of special teams."
McKnight did not have long to talk when we caught up with his as he was pulling up at his mother's home for his in-home visit with Pete Carroll.
On Friday, Ole Miss assistant coach Frank Wilson will make his last pitch to McKnight and then he will begin the process of figuring out where he wants to play his college ball.
