"It was amazing out there," Theriot said. "It was as good as a trip other than one to LSU could be. If there was no LSU I would be out here in a heartbeat."

"We hung out with the coaches early that morning," said Theriot. "We met the head coach (Karl Dorrell) and the linebackers coach (Chuck Bullough) and then they took us over to talk to the academic people.
"Then, me and coach Bullough watched film for about an hour while my mom and the Head of Football Operations (Bob Lopez) talked more about academics. After that we ate lunch and then drove out to the Rose Bowl where we got to go on the field."
One thing that really caught Theriot's attention was the UCLA campus and its academic setting.
"Their football facilities and
The Bruin coaches brought up the subject of making a commitment but Theriot said that they understood he wasn't ready.
"They said they wouldn't care if I waited all the way to signing day," explained Theriot. "They said that I was the No. 1 linebacker on their board and that they would wait for me."
Wile Theriot did not make a decision on his trip out West one could be right around the corner.
"There are only two schools (LSU and UCLA) left and a decision could come soon," said Theriot.
