More offers on the way for Fuller?

This spring has been an extremely busy time for one of the Lonestar State's top receivers as coaches from all over have stopped by Boyd High School to check out Jeffrey Fuller.

Jeffrey Fuller (6-4, 203, 4.5) did not post gaudy numbers as a junior as he hauled in 26 passes for 380 yards and three scores but the numbers he posted at the All-American Combine in Dallas and another one last weekend has opened up some new avenues for him.

"There has been a lot of people come by this spring," Fuller said. "UT (Texas) came by, Nebraska has come by, Illinois and coach Fran at Texas A&M has come by, coach Heupel at OU (Oklahoma) came by, UCLA and LSU are coming by tomorrow (Wednesday) and USC is coming on Thursday. Pretty much all of the schools have come by or have called my coach after the combines."

At the Scout combine, Fuller ran a 4.59 (40) and registered a 33.5" vertical. He had an extremely impressive frame and showed a great ability to adjust to the ball in the air during the skill drills.

Thus far, the standout wide out has picked up 10 scholarship offers but that number is sure to rise now that the May Evaluation Period is kicking into high gear.

"Illinois, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Duke, Colorado, Wisconsin, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Missouri have offered," Fuller said. "I think LSU is close to offering after seeing me at the combine last weekend. Coach Mac (D.J. McCarthy) said he will be at school on Wednesday and then he would see."

With interest picking up and several impressive offers already under his belt are there any schools that standout in Fuller's mind?

"I'm pretty much wide open and keeping a close eye on everyone," Fuller said.
