"I have a lot of LSU attire and posters in my room," said Martin. "Growing up, they were my team. I was so excited when they won the National Championship. They've just been my school of choice since the fourth grade. I haven't been to Tiger Stadium, but I'd love to go."

Martin is being recruited as a defensive tackle, but said he is not too picky when it comes to position, as long as it's a defensive one.
"As long as I can play football I'll be happy," said Martin. "Be it defensive end, or defensive tackle, I just want to be on defense. I like spanking offenses."
Martin is not only big; He's also strong and fast.
"I think my size, speed and agility are what makes me such a good defensive tackle," said Martin, who runs a 4.81 (40) and recently set a county record in the clean and jerk with 325 pounds. "I'm really proud of that; I had to work really hard."
