Rollins has that eye of the Tiger

Aggressiveness is something LSU's defense does not shy away from. Their style of play is a mirror image of one Florida product.

While on the field, linebacker Tarik Rollins (6-2,200.4.7) out of Chaminade Madonna College Prep High School plays with the eye of a tiger. Last season, Rollins racked up 83 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 7 sacks.

His aggressive style of play has earned Rollins over a dozen offers so far, but it will be his patience that will keep schools such as LSU on their toes.

"I receive letters from LSU everyday," Rollins informed. "I made a trip to Baton Rouge earlier this month and I was given a tour of the campus."

Did he like what he saw?

"It was nice, I liked everything about it." Rollins explained. "I really like LSU. They have a good program. I didn't get the chance to meet any of the players, but I saw just about everything I wanted to see. I also spoke with coach [Les] Miles and coach [Bo] Pelini."

How did the meeting go?

"They were really cool," Rollins said. "They told me they were glad I made the trip and they would love to have me there."

When will Rollins decide?

"I have a lot to think about," he said. "Clemson, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Wake Forest are also some schools that I am considering. I hear from them everyday as well. I do not currently have any official visits set up, but I'd like to make a few before I decide.

"As of right now, I do not have a list of favorites. I am just kind of taking it all in and I want to give it some serious thought before I give a team my commitment."

Note: Rollins scored a 20 on his ACT and a 980 on his SAT.
