Miles did comment on the status of freshman Chad Jones and his pormotion to the varsity squad during Tuesday's workouts. Miles said he (Jones) "need to be down there getting coached. he has all the physical skills we are looking for."
The third year head coach was in a rather good mood joking with the media about everything eating ice cream to the pronounication of the name of offensive lineman Josh Dworaczyk.
"Blame my sports information director Michael Bonnette for that," Miles said after mis-pronouncing Dworaczyk's last name. "He did get a proper pronounciation of it."
