TR TOP 25: Teams 15-11

As USA Today unveiled its preseason Coaches Poll last week, Tiger Rag now presents "our" College Football preseason Top 25. Today, we annouce teams ranked 15-11.

11. Louisville Cardinals

2006 Record: 12-1, 6-1 Big East

Sure Bobby Petrino bolted for the NFL, but Steve Kragthorpe is more than capable of keeping the Louisville machine rolling. Especially when star quarterback Brian Brohm is back.

12. Ohio State Buckeyes

2006 Record: 12-1, 8-0 Big Ten

Big Ten champion Ohio State got exposed in the national championship game last year by Florida. With only nine starters back, including four on offense, it won't be that big of a surprise this year.

13. Georgia Bulldogs

2006 Record: 9-4, 4-4 SEC

The Bulldogs managed to win nine games, including a bowl victory over Virginia Tech, in a rebuilding season. While the pundits like Tennessee and Florida in the east, don't be surprised if Georgia wins the division, maybe the league.

14. Florida Gators

2006 Record: 13-1, 7-1 SEC

Sure they are the defending national champions, but why is everyone so goo-goo over the Gators. Has anyone noticed Florida returns just eight starters, including a mere two on defense? Needless to say, there won't be a repeat.

15. TCU Horned Frogs

2006 Record: 11-2, 6-2 MWC

Has anyone noticed that TCU is a combined 22-3 over the past two seasons? They better, especially considering the Horned Frogs have 15 starters back this season. Can a Frog spell B-C-S?
