"My list has not changed," Hurst informed. "The teams are still LSU, Tennessee, and Notre Dame."
In July when TigerRag.com caught up with Hurst, he said he was expecting an offer from Notre Dame this month. Has he received it yet and will it affect his decision in September?
"I still have not received an offer from Notre Dame," Hurst explained. "It would be nice to get an offer from them because I think it is a good university, but if they do not offer me I still plan on announcing my decision in September."
Why does Hurst feel the need to make his decision sooner rather than later?
"I want to get it out of the way," Hurst said. "This whole thing has been fun, but I want to start focusing on my Senior year and helping my team make it to the playoffs."
Did he hear from anyone from any of his top three before the messaging ban?
"I stayed in touch with coach Porter from LSU," Hurst answered. "He would call to get the latest update with me and see how things were going for me. I'd also talk to some of the coaches from Tennessee. I think they'd like to see me commit to them."
Hurst decision coming soon
