PREDICTION: Here's our call on the Tigers

Here is Tiger Rag's official prediction on Saturday's clash between LSU and South Carolina.

Steve Spurrier has been quite successful against the Tigers during his career. Spurrier is 11-1 against LSU as a coach and 3-0 as a player. The only blemish on his record was LSU's 28-21 win over the No. 1 ranked Florida Gators back in 1997. Spurrier has had his way with LSU in the past, and Tiger fans aren't that fond of his propensity to run up the score in the past. While the Gamecocks will be underdogs in this one, never rule out the Spurrier factor.

Advantage: South Carolina

Judging by this analysis, it's pretty obvious this LSU team has very few weaknesses. The Tigers have been dominating on both sides of the ball and have been dictating every minute of every game in which they've played. South Carolina brings to Baton Rouge a pesky team with a mentality to register the upset. While the Gamecock defense is pretty good, the South Carolina offense is less than impressive through the first three games. LSU may see the best defense it has played so far this season; but like in the first three games this season, opposing points are going to be hard to come by. South Carolina will be lucky to find the end zone.

LSU 31, South Carolina 7
