Look for Les Miles and the TIgers to win their 12th straight game.

Intangibles do not matter in this game; Tulane isn't a very good football team. The Green Wave hasn't even come close to the Tigers in almost two decades, a 16-13 LSU victory back in 1990. The last time the Green Wave won a game it was a major upset. The Tigers were fresh off a 55-21 win over Florida State in 1982 and headed to the Orange Bowl when Tulane shocked the Tigers 31-28 in a rainstorm. Unfortunately for the Wave, it doesn't rain in the Superdome.

Advantage: LSU

This is basically a scrimmage for the Tigers. Don't expect to see the starters past halftime as LSU can basically name its score. The Tigers will be looking to shore up some mistakes made in last week's game and get as many youngsters quality playing time. For LSU's sake, the Tigers can only hope this is the first of two trips the team will make to the Big Easy this season. As for a prediction, what was the score of the LSU-Tulane game in the Tigers' national championship season of 1958?

LSU 62, Tulane 0
