SS Corey Bailey
On Florida's strong defensive performances:
"We might have surprised some people but I don't think we surprised ourselves. We wanted to be a good defense. We already know we have a good offense. We just wanted to have a good defense and let the nation know that we have a good defense. So I don't think we surprised ourselves, but we may have surprised some other people that we watching."
QB Rex Grossman
On the upcoming game:
"I'm going to do everything possible to make sure that I have the best game of my life."
On reaching the team's goals for the season:
"Everything is still out there for us. I still think we're a good team and I still think I'm a good quarterback. We have a great offense and we need to play like it. We didn't play like it Saturday and we need to start playing like we know we can."
On the second half of the season:
"I'm really going to try to have the best second half of the season in college football history and that's my goal. Whether I do it or not that's different. But I'm really going to bear down and have these next six games be the best six games of my life and I'm going to do everything possible to make that happen."
QB Ingle Martin
He (Zook) and coach Odom joked with me about it. In the spring they saw I could kick. They had it up their sleeves and they could use if they needed to. Luckily, I was able to come in and do a decent job kicking on Saturday and hopefully I'll continue to do it.
I do that on Sundays out there by myself. I've enjoyed kicking since I was little. Before I even started playing football, I'd go out and kick for fun. It's just something I've always loved to do. It's fun to see how far you can make them, see how many in a row you can hit.
