Checking in on some of the key one on one matchups in Saturday's game.
Kentucky WR vs. LSU
Rafael Little vs.
Rafael Little is widely considered
one of the top skill players in the SEC, maybe the country. With blazing speed,
Little has rushed for 682 yards on 107 carries (6.4 yards per carry) and has
scored three touchdowns. He's also caught 14 passes for 115 yards. Little is a
game-breaker that can score anytime he touches the ball. Marlon Favorite is a
full-time starter now, stepping in after Charles Alexander tore his ACL leading
up to the South
LSU SS vs.
Craig Steltz vs.
Keenan Burton is a favorite target
quarterback Andre Woodson. Through six games, Burton has hauled in 37 catches for 498 yards
and 3 touchdowns. He is one of four receivers on the team with double-digit
catches on the season. Craig Steltz is probably the hardest-hitting safety in
the country and displayed that in a 16-tackle performance against Florida.

Is Andre Woodson still a Heisman
Trophy candidate? Woodson was the talk of college football after he led the
Wildcats from behind in back-to-back wins over then-nationally ranked Louisville and Kentucky. But Woodson encountered a setback in
his Heisman campaign last week when he fumbled twice in a 38-23 loss to
Carolina. Both fumbles were returned for touchdowns.
Still, though, Woodson has completed 135 of 207 passes this season for 1,536
yards and 18 touchdowns, offset by only two interceptions. Woodson is considered
the top quarterback prospect heading into next year's NFL Draft.
