Nick Saban Post-Game:
"That was a great win. I'm really proud of our players. They really played hard in the game. Defensively, they did a great job early in the game.
We had a tough time getting on track, but the offense did a fantastic job in the second half of controlling the football and putting points on the board. I think Matt Mauck played an outstanding game, as did our offensive line.
It was a tough, physical game on both sides, and we knew that we were going to have to be a tougher, more physical team than probably we've ever been to be able to win in a place like this. I think that's the thing I'm most proud of our players for.
Defensively I thought we did a really good job. Rex Grossman is an outstanding quarterback. (Taylor) Jacobs is an outstanding receiver, and (Earnest) Graham is an outstanding runner…
I think the big thing is the relentless attitude that the players came in with…"
On Corey Webster:
"He has done an outstanding job of making the conversion over to defense. He's probably our best cover guy. (He) doesn't totally understand everything we do so we just play him in nickel, but he had an opportunity to play most of the game today and made some fantastic plays."
On the fake field goal:
"That's something that we work on all the time. And to be honest, in that situation where it was long yardage but also a long field goal, probably the only way Florida could get back in the game was if they blocked the field goal.
We knew the fake was there all night by the way they were lining up, and we just got a hat on a hat and (Blain) Bech did a great job of running it."

On the offensive play calling:
"We thought that we were going to have to run the quarterback in this game from spread formations. It gave us an extra blocker to handle a lot of their blitzes and pressures. We didn't want to do it too much, but it was our most successful play in the first half the two times we did it, so we decided to do it until they stopped it."
On LSU's improvement:
"This team hadn't won on the road this year, and I asked the team the question, basically, what they believed, were they the team that went to Virginia Tech, or had they grown and matured to be more like the team that won the SEC championship last year."
On Rex Grossman and Florida:
"I think Rex has got a lot of confidence, and I think that it was real key that they didn't have a lot of success against early because I think Florida has a tendency to get on a roll offensively with the players they have. So it was really good to frustrate them early."
