"It was a lot of fun," said Green. "It was a great experience watching two good football teams play against each other. I knew it was going to be a close game with coach Saban being a former LSU coach and all and that makes it kind of a rivalry in itself and I think we can see now how the games are going to be from now on as long as he is coaching there. Going into the game I thought LSU would win though because they have more talent than Alabama.
"Game-wise it was the same procedure, but I thought the fans were different than at LSU," Green added. "As a whole the Alabama fans were loud. The student section was loud too, but I get a different vibe from LSU's student section and LSU's stadium is the loudest that I've ever been in."
Before and after the game, the 4-star product got the best of both worlds.
"At the game I hung out with T.J. Bryant, Jerico Nelson and Jordan Jefferson," said Green. "We talked about football, recruiting and some stuff outside of football. We are all undecided pretty much, but Jerico Nelson and I kind of like the same teams so we were thinking that we might make it a one-two punch and make our announcements on the same day and at the same time.
"I also spoke to coach Saban," Green continued. "He told me that I would have a great chance at coming in and playing right away because they are kind of short handed at the corner back position. He told me that I'm their guy and he isn't going to pressure me for a commitment. He wants me to make my decision on my own time and I like that."
The game may have been in Alabama, but Green still found his way to mix it up with the LSU team.
"After the game I gave daps to all of the LSU players," said Green. "I spoke to coach [Larry] Porter from LSU on Thursday and we talked about the game and other stuff we usually talk about. I saw him on the sidelines during the Alabama game and we kind of waved to each other and laughed. We have a good relationship like that."
So did the trip to Alabama change anything with recruiting any?
"No difference," Green responded. "I am still unsure and a team's record this year will not affect my decision either. I still want to make some official visits after my season to Florida and Arizona St. for sure and then we'll see what happens after that.
Note: Green informed TigerRag.com so far this season he has recorded close to 30 tackles, 4 interceptions, 15 pass deflections, 3 blocked kicks and one return for a touchdown.
