"I just got back from LSU," said Liuget. "It was great. I've never seen so much purple and gold in my life. I liked it a lot. I'd give my visit a 10. When it comes down to signing day I know I will have to give it some deep thought before I make my announcement. This visit opened things up for me once again.
"This trip was more than I expected it to be," Liuget continued. "I've never really saw so many people and all of them treated me like I've been there or have already been playing there. It really made me feel like I was accepted. It was a nice experience."
Before and after the game, the 4-star product had a chance to speak with some of the LSU players as well as the LSU coaching staff.
How did their conversations go?
"Coach [Les] Miles, coach [D.J.] McCarthy and coach [Earl] Lane all made me feel very comfortable," Liuget answered. "They talked to me about the team and the guys on the team. They were telling me how they felt about me as a player, as a person and where they thought I'd fit in on the team and I believe I could fit it with LSU too.
"I also spoke to some of the players," said Liuget. "They were trying to convince me to go there. They were telling me how they will be lacking defensive lineman next year and they have the type of team that will continue to compete for the national title and I believe that is true."
Was that it for the Hialeah Senior High School standout or does he plan on making a few more visits?
"I might take a couple of more visits, but I honestly do not know right now," Liuget replied. "The one thing I do know is that this trip opened up things for me with recruiting. It will be a tough decision on signing day."
Note: Liuget finished his junior season with 55 tackles and six sacks.
