"I've just been working out," said Lacy. "I finished last season with 1,800 rushing yards and about 26 touchdowns.
"I made the All-State, All-Metro and All-Parish teams," Lacy added. "I was named to two other teams as well, but I can not remember them."
Amazingly, the soft-spoken student athlete has not received any offers as of yet, but has been receiving some attention from two schools of bordering states.
"I really like LSU," Lacy continued. "They are a team I could see myself playing for one day. I know I am an offensive guy, but I really like LSU's defense. On offense, I like how LSU uses more of a balanced attack."
Lacy was able to see LSU perform on both sides of the ball first hand last season as he made the short trip over to Death Valley.
"I went to the LSU vs. Virginia Tech game last year," Lacy stated. "It was real cool. I thought the fans were loud and the people there really showed support for the team and I liked that a lot."
Would Lacy want to one day take in the hometown support himself?
"I haven't really thought about distance being a factor for me in my decision, but I'd prefer to stay close to home," Lacy concluded.
Note: Lacy claimed he would try to attend LSU's Jr. Day on February 24th.
