Pratt, a 6-1, 215-pounder with 4.5 speed, had a big junior campaign with 2,058 yards and 20 touchdowns rushing on 205 carries. When you do the math it comes out to 10 yards a pop for the big back.
Pratt said that he his offer list has grown into the 20's and when we asked him to rattle off some of the big-name offers he has picked up he gave us three schools and then he named some more.
The 4-star prospect said he doesn't have a good feel for which schools is recruiting him the hardest but he did say that he talks to two coaches in particular on a consistent basis.
"I talk to coach (Larry) Porter (running backs) from LSU and coach (Cale) Gundy (running backs) from OU," he said. "They told me to pick up the phone and give them a call so I take them up on that. We don't even really talk about recruiting. We just talk about stuff that guys talk about."
Pratt, who is currently ranked No. 10 in the country at his position, said that he did not have a leader but we asked him what made him rattle off the names of the schools he mentioned when asked about his big-name offers and he gave a little more insight.
OU-- "It's Oklahoma you know. They win the Big 12 almost every year and I like the way they use their running backs a lot."
Texas-- "Growing up in Texas and being from Texas you always like Texas. They like running backs that can run inside and outside and do it all, and I think I fit in good with what they want."
