As a junior, Dent (6-5, 255, 4.9) logged 60 tackles and five sacks, recovered three fumbles and forced two more for Grand Prairie (Texas) South Grand Prairie.
Are things still the same regarding Dent’s favorites?
“Yes sir it is,” he said. “I think those three schools are the ones I really connect with the most. I’m not saying another school couldn’t come in later but for right now that is how I feel.”
The spring evaluation period is underway and coaches are on the road traveling.
What kind of feedback has Dent recently received from LSU and Texas about a possible scholarship offer?
“LSU said they want to do some further evaluation but I feel like one could be coming soon,” he said. “I really don’t know what Texas is saying other than I know I’m still on their list. I haven’t communicated with them in the past couple of weeks.”
If the Tigers and Longhorns do offer then Dent will have a tough decision to make.
Until that happens, though, he is going to continue to look at all three schools on top through equal eyes.
“They are all in the same boat,” he said. “There is no margin that I like this one better or that one better. Those are three that I really like and that are high on my list right now.”
