"I was at LSU's last camp," Reed said. "I'm also going to be at this camp, and I've been to a few underclassmen camps so far."
Reed talked for a bit about choosing a school while living in the shadow of an elite program like LSU.
"If I had to choose a school right now it'd be LSU," he said. "They just have that winning mentality and they seem to come together to get it done. I like that."
That does not mean he isn't considering other options though.
"West Virginia is probably my favorite team to watch," Reed said. "I talked with my family about that, and they said it's too far out. They'd definitely prefer that I went to LSU."
The Thibodaux native is not content to wait for LSU camp, however. He will be attending a short camp for Louisiana-Lafayette starting Sunday.
"My coach said he heard from ULL and they were wondering if I'd like to go, so I agreed to go up there for a few days," he said.
